![]() Of course, I have RB mostly and the times I do use AB, the kamikazes don't annoy me, however, I do think that the rewards for actually surviving with your aircraft should be a lot more, so you don't get pilots just crashing their planes to get back to their tanks faster. I mean, I love the fact that War Thunder has them. ![]() I guess I don't really have much issues with fighters. Now if you werent able to send a crew to holiday, you would be forced to select 7 planes (obviously. You want to play an arcade match with a buddy who just started playing the game and only has Reserve Planes and maybe one Tier 1 plane. Bombers and attackers are usually big targets, it's hard to miss them. One example: Say you have 7 crew slots for your Russian planes and all the Russian planes up through jets. It's not the same as tanks where you not only have to watch out for enemy tanks, but you go slower as well. Aircraft are able to not only spot you since they get a huge view of everything on the ground, but in arcade are able to ram into you with 0 downside. ![]() That's why this is a team game, not 1 person vs 15. You could easily get flanked by a tank you didn't see coming because your team left a wide hole you didn't see. I'm all in favour of the idea of permanent planes from our own roster (rather than the temp randoms from ground battles), but the planes need to arrive in a trickle rather than a flood.Originally posted by Demon_of_Razgriz:Sure, you can't do everything your self, but you could apply the exact same thing to tanks. They need to change this system such that you need to meaningfully earn your plane spawn. The naval battle essentially turns into an air battle (unless one team has an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like me, experienced in air battles, who goes around in a Spitfire cleaning the air completely) and no ship stands a chance. Right now it's set up very stupidly, the way their spawn points system works essentially means everyone is going to lose 2 or 3 ships, then everyone grabs their plane. ![]() Gaijin need to put some actual effort in, ships were not made of nitroglycerin, they didn't explode the moment something suitably explosive touched them. Bomber pilot farts within 1km of you? Hull break. Firstly, damage models are virtually non-existent. Well, the thing about destroyers is factually wrong, unless you're deliberately choosing the furthest back spawn point.īut yes, aircraft are a bit of a mess in naval at the moment. In War Thunder, aircraft, attack helicopters, ground forces and naval ships collaborate in realistic competitive battles. ![]()
